To say that this place is grand is an understatement! Its voluptuous in every sense, you are treated like royalty and it’s quite stunning. An 18th century building with all the genuine character you could dream of, there is nothing false about it with its Murano chandeliers, artwork, beautiful decor, furniture and fabrics. Rooms are spacious and beautiful, each one is named after a fountain or monument and has a fresco depicting it. A luxurious bathtub and large walk-in shower and a very fulfilling breakfast. Being in the centre of Rome, it’s surrounded by all the city’s ‘grande bellezza’. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and inside the building there is the most amazing ancient lift, which is great fun, apparently its the 13th oldest lift ever installed which takes you directly to the top floor spa - the perfect place to go to after a day around the city. It’s all simply fabulous.Recommended for:

What's not to love about this...well...grande hotel! It is amazing. Luxurious, spacious rooms, a bathroom that is a palace in and of itself... The location is not bad, either. A night in this hotel is expensive beyond the means of most people I would imagine, but if you ever get the chance, a night here is so worth it. The area is full of things to see: tons of churches and museums and you're not far from various metro stops to take you all over the city. The staff are pretty attentive, too.Recommended for:
