    Samovar Tea Lounge

0.12 mi from St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco
    35 reviews

I haven't tried the food but the tea selection here is excellent. Seats are comfortable and the staff are friendly. Atmosphere is half Moroccan hookah lounge / half Chinese opium den. One of the few places I've gone to that has yerba mate. Would be better if they had free wi-fi.

A great concept, I love the salmon burrito. Hit it early for lunch because the line gets very long.

    The Garden Court

0.18 mi from St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco

So elegant! So much glass and so many sparkling chandeliers, it seems like you're dining in Vienna or Paris. I had a lovely lunch there with the girlfriends. I totally loved my crab salad, and was so happy I could eat all that fresh crab with out the bother of cracking and picking. Service was professional. It was fun looking ...

Atmosphere is nice. The Thai samosas were good, but I found the pad Thai to be lacking. Could benefit from some spice.

Love the eclectic tavern/ski lodge/rustic decor going on inside. It's warm and inviting, and more spacious than the Chestnut or Fillmore locations with the bi-level seating. I love that you can get breakfast until they close at 11pm. And that's another great thing - they're open until 11pm in an area that typically doesn't have any cheap eateries open that ...

Tropisueno is one of my favorite Mexican places in SF. Love their chile verde entree for dinner and chile verde burrito for lunch. The salsa bar is a dream with a variety of salsas to choose from. The complementary chips must be fried in lard, because they're extremely crisp and addictive. At night, the place is transformed from a taqueria ...

Located in the heart of the fidi on market. A go to place for a surprisingly cheap happy hour (3 dollar beers). The fries are also delicious!

    Super Duper Burger

I kept hearing Super Duper being compared to Shack Shake in NY, so I had to try it! The burgers were pretty delicious - I loved the add-ins and the free pickles (you can take as many as you'd like). They also serve alcohol!

Hakkasan is hot! A sexy and modern upscale Chinese restaurant that's great for dates or a fabulous girls' night out. The large bar area is a perfect meeting spot to grab some fancy cocktails and dim sum.

After attending a photo shoot for Fifth Floor's upcoming new website, we were all given certificates for the fabulous restaurant. So, naturally, we decided to all go together and pig out on some really exquisite shiznit. I started with a Grapefruit Vesper martini (a nice rendition of Bond's drink of choice) and the Crudo as my first plate - fresh ...

    The Melt

0.12 mi from St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco

Great service, delicious fondue and a cute space. I've walked by Melt! so many times, but only recently stopped in for food. It's great for couples, as the space isn't too big. It has a cool bohemian atmosphere, made even cooler with the great live band.

A great classic-style diner with 50's decor, juke boxes, staff uniforms, the whole 9-yards. The menu takes a long time to get through, with mostly American sandwiches & classics. Great shakes, burgers, salads & perfect for the whole family.

I am here all the time. The drinks are made from Peets coffee and cost basically nothing. If you bank with them, you get 50% off the menu price, so I get my iced americanos for just $1! You can't beat that anywhere! The space is huge with lots of outlets, so you'll find lots of people working here.

I love Sushritto... each burrito is huge and pack full of delicious food. I really like the chicken katsu (you have to ask for extra sauce), the salmon (really juicy), and the tuna. If you like spice order a side of the house hotsauce- makes it really good!

    Anchor & Hope

0.2 mi from St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco
    17 reviews

Anchor & Hope is from the team behind Town Hall and Salt House, and quite possibly my favorite of the three. A seafood shack with a modern and industrial feel, you can be assured that the food is just as creative as the decor. I love the nautical theme and all the fine little details that bring it together. Everything ...

Ame means Rain in Japanese. This restaurant nestled inside the lobby of the upscale St. Regis Hotel, but with its own street entrance on Mission, is a child of the celeb chef couple that runs Terra in St. Helena, Lissa and Hiro.
