Follow your nose through the Old Port and down an alley to a 1920s-era brick warehouse, where Alison Pray and Matt James turn out the finest baked goods in town. Browse the bread selection—country boules, focaccias, anadama, cinnamon raisin, pain de mie, baguettes. Pastries include pain au chocolat, spicy gingerbread slices, and wild Maine blueberry hand pies, made with a cream cheese and butter pastry shell.
Must-Try Item: The Morning Bun, a croissant-like dough rolled up with brown sugar and cinnamon.Recommended for:Foodies

Exceptional bakery in the old port area of town. We bought and ate way too much here and everything was excellent (except the coffee!). I'd highly recommend:
- the chocolate cork
- sticky buns
- pumpkin spice cookies
There are no tables inside but there are a few benches outside where you can sit when the weather is nice. Unfortunately, the coffee isn't very good. Might want to pick up a cup around the corner at Port Bean Cafe before heading over.
