Stanley House

The hotel is in close proximity to Victoria station and Victoria Coach station. Stanley House Hotel is a standard hotel, there wasn't really anything remarkable about it. The rooms are fairly cheap, ranging from £60 upwards, breakfast is provided and there is free Wi-Fi for all guests. The customer service is what I would describe as very professional and cold. ...

    Monmouth Coffee Company

    0.91 mi from Stanley House
    4.5
    28 reviews

One of the best places to get one's caffeine fix in London. Nothing exciting about the place itself really (although leagues more pleasant than any of the chain cafes) but the coffee is very very good.

This Hard Rock location has been here since the 80's. I visited with my parent when I was a teenager, and this was the first place they allowed me to order a beer. For that reason, I will always have fond memories, but it is a nice place regardless.

After having dined here on a recent trip to London my wife and two children, I am giving this restaurant the highest rating possible. I loved everything about it: local and innovative ingredients; flavorful and healthy small dishes; fun new tastes that even through a Mediterranean lens come out fresh and novel. The atmosphere and service were great too. Interesting ...

The best meal I have ever eaten was at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Everything was delicious and the service impeccable. Whether you like his tv shows or not, I have to say he sure knows how to put together great restaurants. This, his flagship, is the best I have tried.

Owned by the same family which owns Masala Zone, Chutney Mary's, and Veeraswamy, Amaya is one of the first Indian restaurants to win a Michelin star. It's truly an experience for any lover of a good curry, but don't expect to see Chicken Masala on the menu!

The Botanist is a beautiful restaurant and bar in Sloane Square. My sister and I had the afternoon tea here, which was fantastic (and so filling!). We went on a Sunday afternoon, and I could see that this would also be a fun place to grab a mimosa with a couple of friends on a weekend. My only complaint is ...

What a delightful experience. Having been lucky to eat at a number of top restaurants it was fun to make comparisons. Once in the dining room, it is well laid out and certainly has the air of a refined gentleman's club about it. Some will like this- others will not- but I enjoy individual takes on a dining room and ...

This is literally in the middle of St James Park. Such a comfortable modern building in a lovely setting. The food is by Peyton Burke who focus on locally grown produce and meat. My favourite is the Welsh Rarebit. Eat in the park where Kings and Queens once strolled. A stones throw away from Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street and ...

The food was quite good. There was a lot of variety to choose from. The collection of wines was however limited for an italian restaurant. The prices were quite reasonable (approximate cost for a meal for two excluding drinks is around 25-30 pounds). It is also located right at the entrance to the Oxford Circus tube station.

This was one of the most fun meal experiences we’ve had for some time. The restaurant used to be a former smoke house. Decor ...
