Perfect place to stay in Buzios. Awesome sea view from the apartement. Justified price: you'll receive what you expect. In the center of Buzios, just 20mts from Rua das Pedras, near from all what you need, quieter as the farest pouzada, as private as your home. I'll be back.

Location, location, location...there are two beaches right here...one is small and quiet while the other is large and loaded with restaurants. They are both clean with beautiful blue green water. The main town is only a 5 min 15R ($10) cab ride away (crazy windy steep hills...& bus service not where it should be). The hotel rooms are clean and ...

The former home of one of Rio's most famous architects, Zanine Caldas, Tuakaza is feels like a tropical tree-house set high up in the Tijuca Forest, with magnificent views over Pedra da Gavea. The owner, Matteo, offers great local insight, with friends stopping in for sunset drinks by the natural swimming pools.

Brand-new 4 star hotel located 20 meters from the water, across the Guanabara Bay, facing Rio de Janeiro. From the roof top one has some of the most exquisite views in Brazil (the Sugar Loaf and the sea entering the bay) The staff is lovely and the building and furniture is quite modern in design. It is just 30 minutes ...Popular with

This is one of THE best hotels located right 'on' Ipanema beach. The location could not be better. Hotel itself is very nice, rooms are of a high-standard but expect to pay relatively high rate $300+/night. They have a rooftop pool and restaurant which is one of the hottest spots for Sunday-brunch. Book ahead, it's almost always hard to get ...Popular with

The Arena Hotel in Copacabana stands out from the crowd with large mirrors on all sides which reflect the sunshine and its close proximity (literally a stone throw away) from the beach. If you fancy a change from the beach the Arena has a cozy swimming pool on the roof where you can watch the world go by and gaze ...

There are four El Misti hostels in Rio! Walk out of Siqueira Campos metro and you will be looking directly at the outside of the interestingly decorated Copa Misti Hostel. The downstairs has a large lobby which may somehow remind you of a students flat with various old couches, magazines, and flyers for parties left strategically positioned so guests can ...Popular with

Was in a bit of a hurry choosing a hotel, so really happy with my choice. Right on the beach, in the heart of Copacabana. I took a room w/o a view to save money (R$320/night), but it's clean, safe, has free Wifi (.4 Mbps down, .9 up), lots of friendly help, concierge, free breakfast that's actually quite nice. Still ...
