Probably the most photogenic nightspot in Brazil, Rio Scenarium is a sprawling three-story club packed with treasures from the past. Inside a 19th-century mansion, chandeliers, oil paintings, baroque statues, and countless other antiques set the scene for a memorable night of samba. If you've got the moves, you can join other dancers on the main floor fronting the stage, or ...Popular withNightlifeDesignLocal

This famous bakery founded in 1894 was built to be the most luxurious commercial establishment of Rio. Only the wealthy could go there and it was decorated just like the bakeries in London and Paris. It was the first place in town to have an elevator, when the second floor dining room was inaugurated, which made it even more famous. ...Popular withLuxuryFoodiesDesign

The meats are succulent and delicious. You get a little card with a pig on in that is green on one side and red on ...Popular withBusinessFamilies
These are pooping up all over Rio now...they brew their own beer. I loved the "mulato" a mix of their red, dark, and wheat beers. The thing is...unlike US and most European bars...there is no bar...just tables. Really wish they would add a bar to gather at...Popular withNightlifeLocalBudget
This place is absolutely awesome. We found it by accident while biking around the lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas. It's a bar spread around the grass with wooden benches and high little "tree houses" with mattresses and throw pillows so you can sit down, relax and have a drink or two or three. The staff is super friendly and nice, the ...Popular withTrendstersNightlifeBackpackers
