I personally don't like fisheries, so Steveston wasn't very memorable for me. But I would still recommend it for other travellers, since not many have the same opinions as me.

I admit that my main reason for going to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery was because I had a Groupon for 2 admissions, but I really enjoyed it! The museum is a historical building with information on everything from the process of canning fish to the salaries of the people who worked there in the early 20th century. They don't ...

Beautiful inlet bay area that has many different types of seafood restaurants, souvenir shops, and of course views of the fishing boats and waters. Sure this is very touristy, but there is NOTHING wrong with touristy because if it is not worthy, tourists wouldn't come.

If you need to get yourself from Vancouver to Victoria, forget the ferry. Take a trip on one of Harbour Air's Seaplanes directly from downtown Vancouver instead. It is an exciting way to make the trip. If you are lucky, you might even get to sit in the co-pilot's seat. Harbour Air also flys to and from many other west ...

    Aberdeen Centre

Aberdeen is a really nice shopping center located in Richmond. There's a huge parking structure, but the layout isn't the most convenient. You really have to watch out for oncoming cars while you're backing out. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers. The shops are definitely not on par with Aberdeen's food court and Daiso. In fact, ...

This Daiso is huge. With two floors, you would be hard-pressed to not find anything you wanted. The only reason I didn't pick anything up was because I didn't want to add more things to my luggage (I pack light). Otherwise, I would've stocked up on any number of things here.

    Richmond Centre

    3.44 mi from Steveston Museum

This review is mainly for their food court. Richmond Centre's food court is very very pretty and more upscale than Yaohan's and Aberdeen's, but the prices are more expensive, as well. I think every restaurant has to maintain a very professional and nice looking lot, which is why their prices are so costly for the quality of the food that ...

This food court and supermarket center is really close to Aberdeen. Their food in the food court is more of the Panda Express/fast Chinese food types, although there are some specialty drink places, Hong Kong styled cafes, and some breakfast foods. The ones selling the chinese food all look very similar, and the prices are quite similar, too. I think ...

Why I'm a fan of Hertz Canada 1) located in the parking lot literally outside of YVR (Vancouver International Airport) 2) short lines 3) friendly staff 4) additional drivers are free if you have AAA Only area of improvement would be to actually give Gold Club members the upgrade, especially when there are many cars left on their lot. Need some Chinese herbs, need some Chinese snacks, need some cheap stationary, need some Chinese pastries. Yup it's all here. You could find all that and more in Aberdeen. They have Daiso, which is equivalent to a Dollar Store, but the quality and variety is definitely better.

Of all that Stanley Park offers in trees, flowers, harbor views and totem poles, my favorite memory was of the swings in a tiny playground near the rose garden... I don't know if you've recently "swung" - or if you're so past childhood, the word conjures images of swapping bodily fluids in a dark basement - but it's the definitive ...
