Great little village in the heart of the city, vancouverites call Steveston Village the best kept secret many love to come hear and escape the fast pace and just stroll the promenade, have a latte look in the boutique shops and go for a nice dinner! Only 30min from downtown Vancouver

It's a small community with several small shops and restaurants. They have really good fish and chips, and doesn't matter which restaurant you choose, they all taste exceptional.
Taking a stroll around the pier on a nice day is great. You could hear birds and water and sounds of conversation. Brings a sense of peacefulness.

This is a charming (if not rather touristy) little village near Richmond, BC...a short train ride away from Vancouver. Nice for a daytrip and a spot of fish & chips. All the architecture is in "traditional" fishing village style (colourful wooden houses) and you almost feel as though you could be on the east coast instead of the west! Infact, this little village is the backdrop for ABC's "Once Upon A Time" show, which is meant to be set in Maine!

Worth the trek from downtown Vancouver, Steveston boasts a cute boardwalk and some great fresh seafood spots. There are lots of small craft stores to poke around in and fill the day. Best when it's sunny and warm as there are many great patios.
