Stratosphere Hotel, Casino and Tower

I am doing three stars, as I found that there are real differences in the rooms here. If you do the "cheapest" rooms, you get a bare minimum room (like Motel 6). On another trip, I had to upgrade to get in and it was a nice suite like room (kept thinking I was in the wrong place). This is ...

This is one of the best vista points around. It is THE BEST vista point for lost wages IMHO. So what if it is 16 or 18 bucks to go up top if you are not staying at stratosphere... No where else can view everything happening so easily and take it all in. You can see the North Las Vegas ...

0.05 mi from Stratosphere Hotel, Casino and Tower

Excellent view of the city from the 107th floor of the Stratosphere. Happy hour is from 4-7, making the $14 martinis and appetizers 2 for 1. You have to order drinks 2 at a time to take advantage of this, though. Try the stuffed peppers wrapped in bacon. Delicious.

I didn't want to even give it a star. This hotel is disgusting and in very, very bad conditions, everything has a "smell" and super ghetto..... It's so bad that it's not even worth to pay the lower price.

Take your family and kids here if that's what you're in Vegas for. Not for the adults. I used to love coming here as a child. It has become a bit rundown since then but I think kids would still have fun. It's like an indoor carnival.

One of the best cocktail lounges in Las Vegas. Its off the strip and if what you need is a tiki lounge cocktail I highly recommend checking this bar out. Great ambiance, well priced and wonderful drinks that will get you good and drunk.

I agree, it is a cheap place but still lots of fun! Not sure if they still do this, but this is where you got a fun book! A book of coupons to use around the area; a 99 cent shrimp cocktail, cheap food, drinks a free pull, popcorn, etc. Small place next to Circus Circus.

    Bonanza Gifts

Bonanza Gifts, located near the Stratosphere and the now closed Sahara hotel, is a massive gift shop in Vegas. It has a crazy range of souvenirs, from your regular keychain and magnet finds, to bizarre, hilarious, and vulgar (like the penile measuring stick). I highly recommend stopping in to grab all your Vegas souvenirs.

Here's the thing. I love the idea of the Little White Chapel, because of tradition, but this one here was fun. You can get any kind of themed wedding you want from traditional to getting married in a pink Cadillac with Elvis as the minister. It's a lot of fun, no matter what you choose. We chose to dress as ...

I was in Vegas a few days ago and as I always do when travelling, made the rounds of all the vintage/antique/consignment shops in the area. I found the people in these places pleasant and helpful, and some even suggested I visit the shops of their competitors, whether I bought from them or not. Then I hit this place, Retro ...

With ’70s décor and a haze of secondhand smoke, Dino’s is the place to channel your inner lounge singer. The Sin City institution offers “the best karaoke in the west,” according to an enthusiastic Yelp reviewer, and hosts a Drunk of the Month competition. Have enough fun crooning, and one of the bartenders just might nominate you.
