This is one of my favorite spots in Central Park. Tons of movies have been shot here, and it's easy to see why. The Bethesda Fountain is a lovely calm oasis from the hectic noise and constant stimulation of New York City.

A tasteful, beautiful memorial that makes a statement subtle enough for John Lennon's taste and yet profound enough to honor his memory. I love that every single time I've visited, something has adorned the "Imagine": candles, flower petals, even artwork from fans.

Beautiful building with 93 highly prized coops, prestigious location, wealthy and famous residents. Located on Central Park, this building was built in 1884 with 24 inch thick outer walls, tall ceilings, large rooms with multiple fireplaces in each apartment and a large, private courtyard. It was located so far out of tow at that time it was like living in ...

I loved the exhibit of Frank Lloyd Wright's work. Beautifully designed. I didn't care much for majority of regular works at the MOMA.

Another touristy place to visit. Classic toy shop with a pinch of history inside! It's different from Toys R Us. The whole store was a bit stuffy due to the sweaty people inside and the hot weather. LOVED: - the displays of teddy bears. I ended up buying one for myself. - candy station, it wasn't classic but it was ...

I love the zoo as much as the next person, but personally I'd prefer the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago any day because it's free. The Central Park Zoo is way overpriced and it's really small, there really isn't that much to see. I did enjoy the penguins, seals, and polar bear who was swimming around in circles. If you're ...

I used to live down the street from this 60th and 3rd Bloomies and would shop here about twice a month. The first U.S. outpost for the Parisian purveyors of the world's most luxurious macaroons - or what the NY Times rather wittily described as the 'anti-cup cake'. For all those places in NY riding the crest of this latest foodie fad, be aware that Ladurée lay claim to having invented the macaroon in 1862. There are a dozen flavours to ...

In my opinion, Tiffany & Co blue is the most beautiful blue in the world! Sparkly beauties everywhere in this flagship mecca. Superior customer service and the brand is a force of its own. I swear, I think it is their signature blue that they so deliciously mark as the color of finery.

Small museum. Great Calder mobiles on 5 and 5M. Helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Loved seeing a Robert Indiana retrospective that was both powerful and Americana familiar. The Whitney always seems to have something weird and confusing on display as well . Part of the side effect of focusing on artists that are still alive I think. Free wifi. Cool, ...
