The cutesy name of Suite Dreams is, actually, rather deserved. It's a very modern hotel but manages to feel homey at the same time, with funky original artwork on the walls and clean wood floors. Having spent my last couple years in England, I really appreciated the blighty style kettle in the breakfast room - it's amazing how quickly you can get used to, and become dependent on, boiled water at your fingertips. A comfortable stay, with a friendly staff who seem truly happy to help you wend your way to the Trevi Fountain, never letting on that they've done this a million times before and it must get just the teensiest bit boring. Nope, they make it seem fresh every time, and that's how I felt after leaving SuiteDreams.Recommended for:

A real boutique experience. The suite was positively amazing, complete with a round tub. The overall aesthetic was clever, slick, and quiet. I loved the original art on the walls in this place (though the hotel staff looked at me like I was crazy when I wanted to know who the artist was).Recommended for:

On the fourth floor of a big palazzo, SuiteDreams is a charming little boutique hotel, a great find. Not too formal (something I often find in Rome) it's modern, relaxing, quiet, and very convenient. I could make as much tea as I wanted in the breakfast room and, sure, spent a little too much on the minibar, but a trip to Rome is always worth a little splurge. This place is worth splurging on, too.
