Frankly, there's nothing very inviting about this hotel at all. From the cold tile steps to the walk up to the lobby, I was dreading my time there. It didn't get any better. In order to speak to someone at the front desk you have to talk through the small hole that they cut out from a big sheet of plastic that separates you from them. However, for those on a budget this is a very good choice. Regardless of the exterior appearances this hotel provides a good low-cost accommodation. You can book a semi-private dorm-style room - that means you get a single bed and you share a bathroom but you still get wifi and a few toiletries.

The name of this venue is a bit of a misnomer, as sun is scarce, the drab interior colors are not quite bright, and the lodgings are more reminiscent of a hostel or perhaps an upscale motel than a hotel. Imagine your college dorm. Now imagine how it looked twenty years before you moved in. You’re now in Sun Bright Hotel. However, for the price, if you’re planning on spending brief amounts of time in your 7-9 square meter room, the location is close to shopping areas, subways, and right in the heart of Chinatown. Cable TV (with HBO!), Wifi, and A/C are all perks.
