Much more than a memorial to Dr. Sun Yat Sen, the building also houses a number of significant galleries, conference rooms, reading rooms as well as several rooms dedicated to depicting the life of the Father of Modern China. In addition, try not to miss the changing of the guard at the base of the statue depicting Dr. Sun Yat Sen - it's a fantastic performance.Recommended for:

A national landmark dedicated to the great Dr Sun Wen, also known as Sun Ya Sen, or Suen Zhong Sahn (Cantonese), aka the Father of China. There's a movie about the attempted hit made on his life (Bodyguards and Assasins, a fantastically made movie with an all star cast from Hong Kong and China). Chinese history buffs would do well to pay a visit here, even if just once and capture photos.Recommended for:
