I sometimes take my boat here. They have an outdoor deck with amazing views of Lake Tahoe. The food is great and it is very popular. Save room to share a piece of mud pie for dessert, its what the sailors swam ashore for!

This is one of my all time favorite places to stay when I am in Tahoe. It just feels like home, albeit a very very nice home. The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming, some of them of which I have known for over 20 years. Every time I come back I get a big hug and feel like I am seeing family. The rooms are the real deal with their authentic Tahoe memorabilia, photos, and decorations. Some of the rooms look out onto the lake and are incredibly special because it feels as if you are in your own paradise with how private the little adjoining deck is. And one of the best aspects to staying at Sunnyside: joining in on the local favorite "Tuesday Fish Taco Nights". The tacos are delicious and the company can't be beat!

I've been going here since I was 2 with my parents and friends. Right next to the lake, you get some of the best views of the area in all of Tahoe right when you're eating and it usually doesn't get too crowded so you can get a table pretty quickly. The food is good, if pricey for me, and the nostalgia factor of being there just makes this a very biased love of mine.
