I guess you have to visit it during sunset. The finish of the bridge looked very utilitarian. It was a pleasant drive though with the soft and warm breeze caressing my face. What I appreciate about it is that it allowed me to visit Madura, and to try the amazing duck dish!Recommended for:

One of the landmarks in Surabaya and the longest bridge in Indonesia (as of July 2013). Not much to do here, except maybe photos and taking a boat tour. Some people also took sunrise pictures (if you're into it) with Suramadu as the background. The bridge connects between the islands of Madura and Java (Surabaya). This is a toll road (I believe) meaning you have to pay when you pass.

For the longest time, the people in these two island commute by boat to cross Madura Strait until 2009 when the government finished building a 5.4 km brigde linking the two island. As of today, it is the longest bridge in Indonesia
