Located in the resort that cost $8 billion, it's not hard to imagine that $20 million was spent on this restaurant. The decor is incredible, with not one square inch left untouched.
We had an early Sunday brunch here, and were pretty much the only ones inside. We figured most people were probably still asleep at 11am or braving the long buffet lines at Wynn.
While I wasn't as wowed by the food, the service and ambiance really delivered. We started off with some blueberry pomegranate margaritas per our server, Jason's recommendations. They were very strong -- which is expected from a $14 cocktail. While waiting for our entrees, we munched on the super fresh house-made medium spicy guacamole with chips and 3 salsas. The orange habernero sauce was hot enough to clear your sinuses.
I ordered the huevos en cazuela (eggs poached in roasted tomato and chipotle salsa, served in a cast iron skillet with carnitas, mexican cheeses and warm flour tortilla), which was rich and heavy. Perfect hangover food. I really enjoyed the farmer's market veggie quesadilla that my guy had. He added chicken to it, which made it a hearty dish.
I'll have to come back for dinner or drinks next time. And I hear it turns into a club later on at night, so that would be cool to check out.

I was first induced to Sushi Samba when I was in Chicago for business, this is the same chain. This place is Japanese fusion done right. Yeah it's pricey, but hey it's Vegas right? Our service was pretty good since we were sitting at the bar.

My first sushi dinner! The restaurant had a great atmosphere and EVERYONE was SO nice! My friend Tracy had the miso soup to start. We shared the sashimi tiradito yellowtail jalapeño and lemongrass (great texture and a good sauce), the seabass and miso skewer with peruvian corn (which AMAZINGt!!!!), the crispy taquitos served with spicy aji panca sauce and fresh lime Yellowtail Seviche shiso, avocado, roasted corn miso and the Samba Sushi chef's inspiration. For the two of us, the total for our meal was $100.

Dark and sexy interior. A great place to come with a group celebrating a bachelorette party! We were given a free strawberry shot tree in honor of the bride-to-be. Specialty cocktails are great, I recommend the Samba Juice with watermelon and raspberry rums, açai, passion fruit, crème de banana, and guava. Try any of the handrolls, the fish is so fresh and in nice sized portions. There are so many ceviches it may be hard to choose just one! I went with a waiter recommendation for the salmon ceviche with asparagus, red radish, pineapple, and lime and was so happy! There is a specialty Samba Sushi roll on the menu with foie gras and caviar (Yamato). I HAVE to get this next time, especially since we can't get foie gras in CA anymore.

DAMN it's good.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed an impromptu lunch here. We were seated at the sushi bar where we enjoyed a a tasty bowl of miso soup and ordered the Chilean sea bass bento box.
For $16, we had the most EXCELLENT sea bass with accompanying rolls. It was fresh, beautiful, and so very GOOD. The miso sauce on the sea bass was heaven. I haven't had lunch that good in awhile.
Loved the ambiance as well with the funky but hip decor.
Our waitress was super nice and refilled our water glasses almost immediately.
I am not a huge fusion freak, but Sushi Samba won me over.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUNCH.

I understand this place is pricey and expected it to be. I can afford a place like this... But apparently the service doesn't treat me like such.
My friends came here to eat and I came to join them and they got seated at the sushi bar but it took forever for me to get water or anyone to take my order. I wore a cute dress, I have a nice bag, I am clean and freshly showered... But took awhile. They were nice when I ordered but come on... How long will it take? They really focused on the people who had tables.
Food was good - overpriced which was expected. Got some rolls and a fish. 3 rolls and a fish. The fish (steamed) was eh... The rolls were good. I got plain salmon and yellowtail rolls which were actually on the cheaper end of the sushi price.
Palazzo... Good location
Posh and high end
But be careful smelling like baked fish because there is a dish that has lots of smoke that can cause you to smell like it.my gf was near a table with the dish and smelled like it afterward.
Overall... Maybe I'd come back... If I had a table.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers
