Great diner that's open until 3am daily. They have a vegan cobb that has the best sauteed tofu, vegan cheese, and avocado. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner at all times and their shakes are made with real ice cream. Definitely a favorite late night spot to hit after the clubs.

This is a classic LA joint. Built in 1963 the diner is totally retro with cozy plaid booths and at-the-counter seating. I used to come here all the time when I lived on the west side. Solid food, available til the wee hours of the morning in a super cool setting makes for a great sobering up spot.Recommended for:Art & Design Lovers

knew this place existed, but...
I passed by it almost every weekend, but...
Never occurred to me to stop in and give it a try. Silly me! My friend Debbie to took me here one night after a concert. It's like an old school diner with booths and you grab your own menu and seat yourself if they are not a full house. It gets pretty busy late nights sometimes and you got to wait your turn.
The restaurant and it's food deserves a 3 1/2 stars but the their cupcakes is so darn good it deserved a full 5 stars!!
There are a lot of food options and the menu is huge. They serve all American diner's food from Burgers to steaks to breakfast at anytime of the day! Yay to breakfast at night!
I had the California Omelet with 3 organic eggs stuffed with avocado, bacon, jack cheese and alfalfa sprouts with potatoes on the side. $8.95
I liked the omelet, but the bacon bits was overcooked a hard. I loved the alfalfa sprouts in it. It was different!
Debbie had the fish tacos specials. 3 fish tacos with some greens. That was the special of the night. about $10
The best part of the meal was dessert! I ordered a red velvet cupcake which was so delish!! Honestly in my opinion, way better then the famous cupcakes bakeries out there in LA. It's soft, moist and sweet but not where its so sweet you get goose bumps!
Late hours a big plus for us since we love to grub after events, concerts and movies! Restaurant Hours Open Daily 6:30am-4:00am
Closed the first Tuesday of the month at 2:00am
They also have delivery too if you live near the restaurant.
The crowd at night is full of young rich punk hipsters :-) Young as not just in age, but in spirit and energy. Rich as not that they came in with Louis Vuitton purses and Gucci wallets, but also as they are not afraid to order and eat food that is filled with rich, yummy, calories! :-)
They mostly come out late at nights! :-) and they are fun crowd for people watching!
Overall, its such a fun place to come hang out. When I introduced this place to my coworkers and friends, the looked at me stunned for a few seconds, and then giggled, as I mention the name of the restaurant. lol!

Not sure if the movie Swingers was named after this place but it definitely fits. The food is good Americana with some LA twists to it. The place is usually filled with hipsters an the tattooed type. It is kind of a nondescript location but worth checking out.
