This place has a lot of room in the hallways for kids to run around if anyone is looking to let their kids off leash for some exercise, and the staff are nice and accommodating. It's also very clean and like everyone said here, the restaurant opens up onto Petaling street the hawker street in china town, which is a fun location, but on the plus side reception is on a street that's a bit calmer, so you don't have to navigate through the hawkers with your luggage. Don't worry, though, on the Jalan Sultan reception side there's still stuff to see on your way into the hotel. In the evening you can watch vendors pick up toads, wack them on the head to knock them out, de-head them, gut them, skin them, and then chop and stir fry them up.
So the location is good expecially if you have a thing for delicacies. Rooms without windows should be cheaper than the rooms with windows and check on-line for the cheapest price, but if you're looking for something cheaper in the area but with these kind of clean white sheets and rain showers, Ancasa Express on top of the bus station is also a good choice.Recommended for:

Bang in the middle of Chinatown, the Swiss Inn in KL has got the location thang going on. Tasty grub, a tour desk in the lobby and a very helpful staff make this place a bargain if you got to be close to the shopping and culinary action on Petaling Street. You might even learn some Malay like I did. In the local language, 'Superior Room' actually means 'room with no window' and 'Deluxe Room' is its antonym. So unless you're a die hard Twilight fan, cough up a few extra ringet for the one with a view.Recommended for:

I stayed at Swiss Inn recently on July 2012 for 1 night. This was an average place to stay in KL, walking distance to all the shopping area, and restaurant area (BUKIT BINTANG is about a 10 min walk away). Close by there is a local food court/hawkers that have many stalls with lots choices from major Chinese and Indian dishes. But if you have this kind of price target, I'm sure there are other places much that might be a better value. Good things about it is it's near PUDURAYA BUS STATION, China Town, and Bukit Bintang.

This place is located in Chinatown which makes it so much more fun to stay in if you want to have the craziest bustling activities of bazaar in malaysia. The rooms are quite clean and the staff here is trained to welcome customers in a way that they would actually notice the warmth given by the staff. Although Chinatown is bustling at night but it doesn't goes on till the wee hours in the morning, so don't worry that you will have to see hawker selling things right out of your window at 4am. The most interesting thing around this place is they actually cater all these hawker food to all the travellers and overpriced them without the travellers noticing it. The hawker food have double standards which sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable although I have to accept it as I was there with a friend from algeria. This place also has a website where you can actually booked it for cheaper which is quite uncommon for other places because most of them i notice for rates in the internet is much more expensive for this kind of place.
