The Sydney Opera House needs little introduction, as it is one of the most iconic buildings in the world. While most people just admire the outside or take a tour of the inside, seeing a performance here is just as amazing. The acoustics, as you can imagine, rock.

The tour of the Sydney Opera House is great, especially if you've never been in an opera house before. The architecture is unique and the venues are really cool. I highly recommend watching a live performance though. I saw a classical music concert but I also saw a separate show where the orchestra performed music with a theme of nintendo games (e.g. scores from mario brothers, zelda, etc.) So look into whats playing. There are all sorts of interesting things to see. Quite an experience!

The first encounter, dazzles your eyes, insinuates romance and shocks your heart — the Sydney Opera House is one of the most impressive buildings of the 20th century! This 1973 expressionist freestanding sculpture of spherical roofs and curved shapes is so eternally memorable that it has recently become a member of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Both, the opera tour and/or a performance are great ways to explore the site. The adjunct lounge/restaurant is great for sunset and happy hour cocktails that a mixologist would appreciate.
