If you're familiar with tapas and serving portions around Spain, you'll be surprised to learn that the portions here are massive in comparison (well, they're huge in general). Order "media" for what one might consider a standard serving size, and order "grande" for a plate that's probably comparable to a family style-sized dish. Perhaps you should stick to ordering tapas if you're not ravenous, as those portions are also larger than average. Most everything is tasty! It's all tables upstairs, but the bartenders downstairs are good for some laughs.

Taberna Coloniales is authentic Spanish food and tapas at amazing prices. You can have a dinner for two with wine and dessert for about 20€! The best way to experience this restaurant is by ordering a variety of tapas to share with your table. The only downside to eating here is the long wait. But you can try to avoid this by arriving early (around 8:00 pm) and putting your name on the waiting list right away. I'd advise putting your name on the list inside and outside (there are 2 separate lists). This place isn't fancy and the service is a bit rushed, but the food is outstanding and very inexpensive. You have to try it!
