Great day trip or overnight trip just a short drive south of Manila. If you're a foodie, you're in luck as there are a lot of delicious eateries. Cute cafe with a view. Oprah raved about their Alamid Coffee (aka Civet Coffee...look it up), and it IS pretty good. Come to avoid crowded locales, look out over the water, and sip Barako coffee. Head's up: parking can be a bit painful in the miniscule lot.

We were on our way back from the Club Punta Fuega when our host immediately pulled over the side of the highway to stop here. Literally, this "house" was facing the highway. I've been telling him since I arrived in PH, that I was craving REAL cassava cake, so I was extremely lucky that we came across this gem! It ...

This is one of the few restaurants in the area that is open until 10pm. Their thin crust cheese pizza was good and not too heavy. Leave room for dessert and order the Tartufo. It's a three layer chocolate cake with dark and white chocolate mousse! YUM!
