Spent an amazing 10 nights with my beautiful bride in French Polynesia. Started with 2 nights in Tahiti, 4 nights in Moorea, and finished with 4 nights in Bora Bora.
In terms of natural beauty it went from good to better and finally Bora Bora was the best.
Our trip was made relaxing due to easyTahiti.com (Tiffany) and their organization skills and familiarity with the islands.
Our package included all our accomodations and importantly, all our transfers from island to island.
We were provided an itinerary for our trip that detailed all pertinent information which allowed us to enjoy the sun and not worry about confirming details or setting up transfers.
We stayed at the Intercontinental in Tahiti, Hilton in Moorea, and Four Seasons in Bora Bora.
Predictably the Four Seasons had top notch service and was the nicest. Had a great time in Moorea as there was coral everywhere around the bungalows which allowed us to feed fish and sharks right from our patio (no coral around bungalows in Four Seasons Bora Bora).
Our favourite part of the Intercontinental was the infinity pool with a swim up bar. Since it was our honeymoon we were going to have a great time regardless; however, the stunning views, relaxed feel, and great local dishes truly made it a trip we will never forget.

When people think of Tahiti they think over the water bungalows and that, in reality , is on different islands. Tahiti is more like Honolulu except smaller and easy to get around. The shopping is decent but mostly a transfer point on your way to a more picturesque island.Recommended for:
We traveled to Moorea Island in Tahiti. It's about a 10 minute prop plane ride from the main island. This is truly a place to get away from it all. The Intercontinental resort is terrific. It has everything you would expect from great beaches and lagoons, water sports, swimming with the dolphins, beach front and over water bungalows, great food, etc. You can tour most of the island in a day or so. There is a boat that is a floating restaurant that has the best shrimp scampi. If you want to get away from it all this is a great place to do it.
We went on a tour where we saw beautiful waterfalls. One thing that really amazed me was the blow holes---- This is where air pressure builds up and in one area water shoots out so high it reaches you up on the ledge and gets you wet. The other blow hole builds up sp much air that the wind can blow a 140 pound person down. facinating.
