    Shilin Night Market

    73 reviews

Love this night market! I come here whenever I'm in Taiwan for the stinky tofu. Lots of food, drinks, clothes, and other stuff to shop. At the end of the week, my aunt and uncle took us here one last time even though it was raining cats and dogs.

    Club Myst

    3 reviews

Probably the hottest and largeat club in Taipei! Reminds me a lot like a Vegas club, with jacuzzis on the patio deck and waterfall inside the club to 4 high stripper poles and large dance stage in the main room. Entrance is normally 700 Taiwan dollars for both females and males under general admission and a long wait in line ...

Q Square is located next to the Taipei City family and I came across it when we were walking around the Taipei train station vicinity. Q Square has some higher-end shops as well as a food court. The food court also has several food/bakery shops to peruse. Take a look at the directory by the escalators to see where ...

If you want to shop for clothes, this is the place all the locals go. Some shops only sell items as wholesale/bulk, so you have to ask. Many of the shops have racks with items that are 100 yuan or 3 for 200 yuan...super cheap, you just have to take the time to look. The Raohe nightmarket is a short ...

In the US, bookstores seem to be going the way of dinosaurs, but certainly not here. The Eslite bookstore in the Xinyi district of Taipei is just a block from Taipei 101, and offers 6 floors of shopping. But wait, this not like any normal bookstore, it also offers unique mini stores with lots of eclectic goods, clothing, luggage, home ...

Went to the theater and took a ride in the gigantic ferris wheel - one of the highlights during my trip to Taiwan. They have the regular booths and they have a few transparent booths so you can see 360 degrees all around you as you're traveling up and around the ferris wheel. And the wheel lights up in different ...

    Shipai Night Market

    2 reviews

I'm a big fan of Shi-Pai Night Market because of the variety of local Taiwanese eats it offers. Like other night markets, they begin operating in the late afternoon, however, this place doesn't start to get hip and lively until about 7PM~10PM (peak hours). In addition to oyster omelette, fried tofus, and pearl milk teas, you can actually also find ...

    National Concert Hall

    4 reviews

I actually had attended a concert here a few years ago and the acoustics were very good. It's a large, elegant and modern amphitheater built in the classic Chinese style. Even if you're not going to a concert, it's worth dropping by to see along with the national theater and Memorial Hall.

Amazing collection of artifacts of the history of Taiwan. We did the audio tour and enjoyed it. Some of the rooms get crowded when there's a group tour, so be ready to dodge and squeeze your way around.
