Best restaurant in Wrigleyville! Delicious food, great atmosphere and BYOB. What more can you ask for? Just remember to go early or make a reservation if you can. This place gets extremely crowded, especially on the weekends, but it's totally worth the wait.

I am in love with Tango Sur.
I don't know what took me so long to get here, and that is my only regret with this place.
Yes, there's a wait, and no- no reservations. So grab wine and head to that cozy little dark room and wait to be called.
Order some empanadas. Take your time with the menu. My favorite is el filet, but everyone has their own. The spinach potatoes...everything about this dish makes my mouth water. But I've tried other (people's) dishes, and they're all fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, everything dinner should be and more. And yes, you should try and share otherwise you'll fall into a food coma because the plates are not small.
It's so reasonably priced, but I'd go here even if they bumped it up (knock on wood). It's great for dates, or for large parties.
Service is just what I like...not too attentive or talkative, but there when you need them. They never rush you out and let you truly enjoy your meal.
...and now I just talked myself into going back this week.

Tango Sur is a fabulous Argentinian steak restaurant for the foodie type that provides a fun date like atmosphere and a surplus of options on the menu. Candle lit dinners at night with a staff outfitted as caballeros, this place is a treasure in the Lakeview neighborhood. They don't take reservations but it is BYOB !Recommended for:

Good Argentinian food (but not as good as Argentina). It's crowded on the inside and not good for large groups. The patio is quieter and a bit roomier. It's a good dinner spot if you're going to a movie at the Music Box, but maybe not so great for a date if you don't want to end up with garlic breath from the chimichurri which turns the great steaks into great argentinian steaks.
