Born and raised in Tanzania. One of the beautiful and peaceful country you will ever find on earth. People are very friendly. If you want to go on safari this is the country to go. Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Mikumi National park.

Tanzania, like Kenya, has a wonderful balance of wildlife and culture. Within those two categories is a lot of variety as well: the Swahili culture of Zanzibar stands in stark contrast to that of the Masai inland. You can see the great migration and the following predators in the Serengeti or chase chimpanzees through the jungles near lake Tanganyika. For a well-rounded or first-time Africa trip, Tanzania is a good bet.

Tanzania is an absolutely beautiful country that offers the prairies as in the Seregeti, the Ngorogoro, the mountains as in Mt. Kilimanjaro, and the beach as in Zanzibar. The people and their hospitality, the culture and their food, and this is one far away and not so easy to get to country that I can see myself wanting to return and experience more!

Countless wildebeests, ten lions hanging on the tree, Zebras waking you up on your porch, Babies lions playing in the glory of sunset.... I didn't know anything about nature and wildlife until I came here. Candlelight dinner turned into big fight with buds, scared by the huge elephant passing our car, weird monkey hanging outside our window peeking...It is absolutely fun and unforgettable.

Serengeti wildebeest migration
The great Serengeti wildebeest migration is the movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti's wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant's gazelle, Thompson's gazelle, eland and impala. These move in an annual pattern which is fairly predictable. They migrating throughout the year, constantly seeking fresh grazing and, it's now thought, better quality water. The precise timing of the Serengeti wildebeest migration is entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year

I went to hike Kilimanjaro with my friends while on vacation and it was absolutely amazing. A few friends and I booked the Machame Route through Xplorato Ventures(firstname.lastname@example.org), a local tour operator, and we were largely surprised by how smooth it went. From the glacier on top, to the rain forest at the base, the climb takes you through rain forest to Mars like terrain to glacier blue and back to lush greenery. When we finally summit the highest point in Africa(Uhuru peak), the kind of elation in everyone's eyes, was truly unforgettable. It wasn't just about completing a feat any more, it was overcoming challenges and celebrating team spirit.

Amazing for nature and culture. Arguably unsafe in certain parts of Dar and Arusha, but totally fine in Zanzibar. Tanzania is on the expensive side of Africa, but it has a decent transportation system (always fly Precision Air), most modernities, and friendly people.

Beautiful country with tons to do like hike Mt. Kili, visit the spice islands like Zanzibar, snorkel, dive or lay on the beach, visit one of the many national parks for an amazing safari experience, hike on less daunting mountains, etc.. The people are friendly and welcoming.
