Serengeti National Park within the Northern safari circuit in Tanzania is just simply splendid! I was able to go on a game viewing drive in the Serengeti National Park where the wildlife defines the Serengeti - countless Zebra, buffalo, gazelle, wildebeest, and other species make it their home. The terrain is the main stage for the great wildebeest migration, an ...

Zanzibar feels like another world, one scented with cinnamon, drenched in sugar cane juice, populated with dhow (carved wooden boats) and women dressed in the traditional bui-bui. A trip to Zanzibar is well worth the two-hour ferry ride or puddle-jump in a plane to savour its spicy delights.

A friend and I booked the Machame Route through Shah Tours, a local company, and was largely surprised by how smooth it went. ...

Nungwi is the perfect place to relax after a safari. We spent six days just relaxing, reading and exploring the crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. I would highly recommend spending the majority of your time here rather than Stone Town while you're in Zanzibar. Also, a heads up, there are no ATMs in Nungwi (as of summer 2012). ...

Small and full with monkeys, this national park is so different from all the other places I've seen in this area. As far as I remember there are no cats in the area but many different types of monkeys and the largest number of giraffes and hippos I've seen. Since it's a small place there isn't a boring moment and ...

Beautiful! Clean, white sandy beaches with the most turquoise waters. Ok snorkeling but you can't beat the beach on the east side of Zanzibar. Close to the northern tip but not crowded with tourists. Lovely place!
