I just visited TAO 7.11.14 and had the best time ever!!! Despite the pool being small, it was one of my favorite and most memorable experiences in Vegas. I enjoyed getting to know the other pool goers and parting it up with my new buddies. Also, Wendy Williams was there and that got everyone very excited and ready to party even harder. It was an overall good time and would recommend it to anyone that visits Vegas. When I visit again I will definitely be going back.

It's like MTV at the pool, where girls in bikinis strut their stuff and dudes with 6-packs show off their pecks! It's an endless party here with the drinks and music flowing non-stop!

Tao Beach at the Venetian is one of the hottest spots for pool parties in Vegas. There are lots of options though--check out the website www.lavishvegas.com/pool.htm for a good overview of the pool party scene in Vegas including a calendar of events plus useful links to pricing, VIP entry, and 2011 pools parties. Have fun!

Way overpacked during EDC week. By comparison Encore Beach Club is much more enjoyable compared to this small, mostly cement "beach club"

Girls and guys gone wild! TAO Beach is crammed with gorgeous people... but it's way too close for comfort - for me at least. The pool is tiny, and by the end of the day, half the water has been splashed out of the pool and is completely murky.

We didn't have to wait in line or pay a cover to get in on a Saturday afternoon, which was a plus, but the place was a madhouse. On the upside, because the place is so small, it's much easier to make friends with complete strangers who will let you hang out in their lounge area.

For the ultimate Vegas pool party experience, my vote is definitely for Wet Republic or Encore Beach Club.

Tao Beach brings a bit of Bali to the Nevada desert thanks to bamboo trees and Asian-inspired cabanas. Maxim magazine puts on a party here each Saturday, with cover model appearances and model searches. At night, the relaxed daytime atmosphere heats up—literally, with 14-foot fire columns and high-energy music—as an extension of Tao nightclub. As of 2013, beachgoers can order Sunday brunch from the Tao kitchen. Reserve as early as possible for one of the 12 cabanas, and look for the bevy of masseuses and personal body misters to cool you down on request.

When to Go: Saturdays for the Maxim party, Sundays for brunch.

Admission: $20 for men and women, depending on the event.

    Open to Non-Hotel Guests? Yes

Family Friendly? Adults 21 and over; European bathing permitted Monday–Thursday.

Don't go into the water its cloudy ugh... other than that it's waay too crowded for that little pool area. I would suggest another pool party

Great spot! Get there early to reserve a spot, it gets crowded in the summer. If you can afford it, get a cabana.

The water in the pool looks like it will give you a rash or worse if you go in there. I can only visit this place when it's not over a 100 degrees outside.

If you go, I would pace yourself as you will not have any energy left for the night.

I don't know what to say about this place other than it is AWESOME. Great party, gotta check it out if you're in town. Find a night with a good headlining DJ coming through.

Though Tao Beach is much smaller than other pool parties I really enjoyed the intimacy. I saw Benny Benassi here and it was like a private party hosted by Benny. Excellent sound system, great drinks, and it helps when you know the bartenders for drink tickets!!

The pool is a bit small but I love the beach balls flying everywhere. No wait at the bar, no massive lines in the restroom. It's really low key and everyone here is just having a good time. Not too many meat heads as you tend to see at other pool parties. Also a lot less pricey than other pool parties. If you're a pretty girl don't bother buying a ticket just walk up to the check in and they'll give you a pass to get in free.

Visit Tao Beach if you want a more intimate pool party option.

They have ladies that go around and set you up with a Hookah if you like. Suhweet!

the only things i had a problem with were the one tiny pool, and the massive amounts of people. if there was more room to move around, i might have given it a higher rating. plenty of free drinks were handed out, which is always awesome.

Much too crowded for my taste. The staff is nice and the design of the place is nice. Good music too, but very loud. I guess that's expected. I'm more of a relax by the pool person than a party by the pool person. There's barely any space to get into the pool on the weekends and I'm afraid if I do that I'll get an STD. The go go dancers are hot!

TAO nightclub is probably one of the most crowded nightclubs in Vegas I've ever been to. You are literally in someone's shoulder, face and/or other body part at all times. There is no room anywhere and there is a line to get anywhere as well.

I was standing in line to get outside to look for a friend (outside of the dance area into the stairs area) and some person smoking a cigarette burned it into my leg while we stood waiting for both lines to move forward or backwards. Ouch!

Nevertheless, TAO is great time in Vegas because it's one of the first exclusive night clubs you can actually get into. Yes you have to pay sometimes but at least they won't turn you away like "Haze" ... and they have naked girls in bathtubs covered in rose pedals as well as fun decor and displays of more girls on the dance floor. There's a small balcony outdoor area where most people smoke and catch a gorgeous view of the Strip and all the security guards are more or less pretty nice.

TAO Beach is especially pleasant in the summer when it's warmer outdoors as there is a pool area (which no one seems to use ...) and a nice bar and is far less crowded than it is downstairs.

Tao Beach is the nice pool area of Tao, with little cabanas surrounding. It's fun to just hang out here during the day and lounge. However, also at night it's great too just to soak up the Las Vegas heat. I have to warn you though the drinks are very expensive, I think we paid around $18 for a smoothie drink.

I prefer to come out here when partying at Tao, since it's always nicer to get some fresh air than the heat inside of the club.
