Tao

Combination of Chinese (Dim Sum) and Japanese (Sushi) food. Anything you order is delicious. The place is very well designed and all the decoration transports you to Asia. During nite the ambience is relaxed. PS: giant lucky cookie for dessert is amazing!

This place looks like your very rich friends Penthouse...has a cool lounge with great drinks, a good looking crowd, beautiful staff and delicious food. My friends and I loved everything, especially the seafood.

    Rouge Tomate

    0.12 mi from Tao
    3 reviews

Rouge Tomate is my first Michelin Star rated restaurant. The expectations were high from my side prior to our visit. I must say, I wasn’t disappointed. The interior is modern and nice looking. We were seated at a booth (there were 5 of us), with plenty of room on a table and to seat. The service was very nice – ...

    Le Cirque

    6 reviews

On my boss's dime (what up holiday lunches?!), I got the chance to experience Le Cirque. The food was pretty delicious, sure, but I imagine most people come here for the experience...and it was DEFINITELY an experience. The service was smooth, the restaurant itself is upscale and everything combined made a girl feel like royalty. I probably won't get back ...

Totally fine dining. Service was impeccable. Food was also impeccable. An extraordinary amount of attention to detail. If you are looking for something a little bit different but good and not challenging this is a good choice. They do ask for proper attire at this restaurant.

I went here for a friend's birthday dinner once and it was absolutely lovely. I'm not a big fish eater, and had only just become a sushi fan at the time, but I loved everything I tried, including the fried oysters with mango chutney. DELISH.

Ate here during restaurant week, so lunch was a much discounted $25 plus tax and tip ($31, altogether). Quite delicious, spacious, and excellent service. Ordering off the summer restaurant week menu, I got the heirloom tomato salad, the trout and the cherry cerise. My dining companions ordered the pate and the chilled corn and shrimp soup for starters, and enjoyed ...

    The Plaza Food Hall

    0.2 mi from Tao

This review is specifically for Todd English at the Plaza Food Hall. I went with some folks for a birthday dinner here, and while we enjoyed the appetizers (especially the risotto tater tots!) and dessert (lavender creme brulee, mmm...) quite a bit, the main entrees left us unimpressed. I ordered, if memory serves, a half order of a crab pasta ...

I went to LAVO for dinner with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. We had an amazing time with a nice waitress who gave great recommendations. I ordered the oysters on the half shell, mixed green salad, and the spinach artichoke pizza. Definitely enough food for 2 to split, which is what I did with a girl friend ...

Brunch at Sarabeth's is like a visit back home. Great comfort food in a homey environment that is comfortable for kids and adults. I'm partial to the Green and White and the Red Omelette while the kids always go for the apple cinnamon french toast.

From the owners of Sant Ambroeus (on the Upper East Side, West Village and Southampton) comes this spectacular spaceship-shaped new restaurant worthy of Park Avenue financiers and movie stars alike. The pop art on the walls is unbelievable, as it its ground-breaking decor. The cuisine is nothing less than Italian classics at its very best. The branzino is my favorite! ...

    Le Cirque Cafe

    0.18 mi from Tao

More casual than Le Cirque, Le Cirque Cafe still delivers on ambience, good service, and innovative basics. A good sophisticated old-school French / American fine dining spot. Doesn't have the soul to make it truly special but it is certainly an institution. Very popular with blue hairs and men in suits. The celebrity photos are a bit excessive but will ...

You can't get better service than at Nougatine, even if it is just the "bar" area. I ate there for the second time on Christmas Day and waited 15 minutes for our table which I was more than prepared for, but they apologized profusely and gave us complimentary appetizers and desserts. Plus, the food is more than outstanding. If there ...

Coat check at the door. Friendly, smiling servers. Purse bed at your seatside for the ladies. Congratulations Le Bernardin, you've earned the #1 spot on the Zagat list, and rightfully so. The space is nicely spaced, we had a ton of room between tables. It makes you forget you are in NYC. The experience from beginning to end was WOW. ...

One of my most memorable sushi experiences ever! I went in having really high expectations because of all the rave reviews this place got, and they were very on point. Nestled inside Central Park on a picturesque lake, you will find the Central Park Boathouse. The wait is very long, so I suggest going to place your name on the list, and then wander around Central Park until you near your wait time. This is an upscale venue, and a lot of couples get married here for its prime location, ...
