Combination of Chinese (Dim Sum) and Japanese (Sushi) food. Anything you order is delicious. The place is very well designed and all the decoration transports you to Asia. During nite the ambience is relaxed. PS: giant lucky cookie for dessert is amazing!

    Le Bernardin

    0.55 mi from Tao

Coat check at the door. Friendly, smiling servers. Purse bed at your seatside for the ladies. Congratulations Le Bernardin, you've earned the #1 spot on the Zagat list, and rightfully so. The space is nicely spaced, we had a ton of room between tables. It makes you forget you are in NYC. The experience from beginning to end was WOW. ...

    Totto Ramen

    0.86 mi from Tao
    10 reviews

I've given up on waiting in line for Totto Ramen several times in the past. But you can bet I'll never make that mistake again! I was able to secure a seat in this dinky venue when I walked right in before the dinner crowd that would later swarm the doorway. Not knowing how spicy some items on the menu ...

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Marea. When you have a Michelin star and charge these prices though, everything should be nearly perfect, and Le Bernardin this is not. The pastas were excellent; the fish was overlooked and the service is uneven. Overall, a lovely evening on Central Park South.

    The Loeb Central Park Boathouse

    0.89 mi from Tao
    9 reviews

Nestled inside Central Park on a picturesque lake, you will find the Central Park Boathouse. The wait is very long, so I suggest going to place your name on the list, and then wander around Central Park until you near your wait time. This is an upscale venue, and a lot of couples get married here for its prime location, ...

Founded by Harry Rosen in 1950, Junior’s landmark restaurant is known as the home of New York’s best cheesecake. For decades, Brooklynites (and other New Yorkers) have come here to eat, laugh, argue, over cheesecake. My personal favorite from Junior’s has not changed for longer than a decade – a large plain cheesecake. I especially like the unique texture, consistency, ...

Best service I've had in a restaurant, possibly ever. Amazing food, super fine dining, and more reasonably priced that you'd expect for all of that. We had 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, cocktails AND dessert, for less than $200. For a restaurant of this quality, that is unheard of.

Believe the hype. I went here based on my best friend's recommendation...he happens to be an oyster aficionado, so he can't be wrong. He wasn't wrong. Get the Mountak Point oysters if they are in season, down it with a glass of champagne, and you can thank me later. Skip dessert, there are other options outside...but why would you have ...

In the heart of Times Square, great atmosphere! The waiters and waitress take turns singing and dancing to different songs while they wait on you! These are the people who are trying to make it on broadway. Many of them are excellent and end up getting big gigs, so while you eat you also get a fabulous show! Don't forget ...

A traditional Milanese panini bar where the menu, in addition to offering sandwiches, lists salads, carpaccio, lasagna, and fondue (the latter available only at dinner). As at any self-respecting paninoteca, wine and espresso are the featured beverages.
