Love the bar at the country club! Wonderful Green Chili Bloody Mary's! The angus burger is amazing as well. For a quick bite in the afternoon, try the golf cafe on the ground floor.

    Orlando's New Mexican Cafe

    11 reviews

The decor is fun and funky and the food is fabulous. Traditional New Mexican food with the famous New Mexican chiles served on big platters, one of the original family owned joints and still one of the best. Our favorite comfort food stop. Right on the highway north of town hard to miss the crowds lining up. cons: Service can ...

Lambert's of Taos Restaurant & Bar

    8 reviews

Lambert's has blossomed in its new location on Bent Street, and has a lovely dining patio. The food is excellent, and if you're not up for a big meal, we recommend the upstairs bar, where you can get many dinner menu items. Happy Hour on Friday evenings shouldn't be missed.

    Adobe Bar

    8 reviews

The Adobe Bar part of the historic Taos Inn. Every night around sundown it's also one of the most happening locations in town. There's live music in the hotel lobby and in the bar next door, you can get drinks as well as American and Mexican food. The Huevos Rancheros are the best I've ever tasted.

    El Meze

Our favourite Taos restaurant, El Meze is just to the north of town in El Prado. The ambiance is great for romantic dinners, or small groups of friends, and the menu outstanding.

    World Cup Cafe

The girls running the World Cup are amazing, and if you go often enough, they will remember your name - even after a break away! It's a tiny place, but people will sit outside the windows and watch the world go by through the centre of Taos. Another plus: they carry the Weekly Guardian newspaper - unrivalled for world news.

    El Gamal

El Gamal is a cute little place with personality and good, affordable food. We took our food to go because we had our cat in the car but the pitas were fresh, falafels were clearly homemade, well seasoned and flavorful. They also have a really original lentil "veggie burger" that was really original and tasty. I would definitely return here ...

Living Spa At El Monte Sagrado

    4 reviews

A spa-resort built completely on green and sustainable principles, this is Taos' luxury place. Try to get someone to show you around and explain the water recycling system, view the spa area, and the beautiful grounds. you don't have to stay there to enjoy facilities like a pedicure, massage, a drink in the bar, or lunch in their very reasonably-priced ...

    Eske's Brew Pub & Eatery

Eske's Brew Pub is not right on the main drag in Taos, which may be why we decided to go there. Eske's has a small kitchen that you can see from the dining room. They brew a variety of great beers and serve bar food made from local ingredients.

    Five Star Burgers

    2 reviews

Five Star Burgers is basically a bar with tons of food. We didn't get anything else but burgers because, well, why would we when they have GF buns? But they also have salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. They even have many vegetarian and vegan options, as well as tuna burgers, turkey burgers, portobello burgers, and salmon burgers (depending on location). ...

    The Gorge Bar and Grill

    3 reviews

On a windy day with sand blowing down every street, my wife and I went here for lunch. Set in an unassuming adobe building just off the plaza, we were surprise how nice the Gorge was. There's a copper top bar, pictures of the New Mexico landscape on the walls and a profusion of exotic plants everywhere. For lunch I ...
