THANK GOD I don't live in Portland, because I would come here every morning and be twice as big. I don't know how the staff here stays so skinny.
There was absolutely nothing on the menu that I didn't want to devour. The food is tapas style and not your typical brunch offerings. The three of us shared two orders of their chocolate donut holes, three bacon wrapped dates, fried egg and cheddar biscuit with fried chicken, Burmese red pork stew with fried egg over rice and polenta & sausage ragu with mozzarella and fried egg. EVERYTHING was to die for. As our server said, there is nothing on the menu that she wouldn't recommend. The portions were perfect - anything more, and we would need to be rolled out of there.
The libations looked amazing, but I didn't partake in any. Our bill came out to $41, which was totally reasonable. And did I mention, the space is super cool?
Yeah, it's a good thing I don't live here because I would LIVE (and then probably die an early death) at Tasty.

I love this place! Their food is delicious and they such an awesome menu! Definitely very special. You can't find anything close to this in California. Great service, inventive menu, and so fresh! Get here early or be prepared to wait!

There's definitely a line, so be prepared to wait. You can always grab a cup of coffee and head on outside to enjoy the cool crisp air before sitting down inside. The food is good, but the portions are rather small. My small plate item [the breakfast board] was actually larger than some of the breakfast sandwiches.

Tasty N Sons serves new American food. It's often crowded during the weekends for brunch, but if you're coming with two people, you should be able to find seats along the bar area. I tried the polenta with sausage ragu with mozzarella and fried egg. It tasted soooo good! The polenta item is heavy though, so make sure you come to Tastys with an empty stomach.
