Teacake Bake Shop is located on the first/ground floor of Bay Street on a corner. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends but I'm not really sure why. The interior is really cute, with lots of chalk boards and pink stripes. As for the actual goods, I find their items to be just okay. Not bad, not spectacular. And I refuse to pay $3 for a small, mediocre cupcake.

I have a number of friends who really enjoy going to this place... I like their cup cakes and they have some other good stuff as well. I had a mint cream with chocolate cake sandwhich deal which was awesome...
I really enjoyed eating it and the cupcakes are also tasty... I just wish there was a way to get sugary crisco frosting on the red velvet in lieu of cream cheese icing as I dont like that as much...
Overall its a great place... and its always busy :D

A delectable cupcake & cookie shop in Emeryville. I love that the cupcakes are not super sweet like other stores and they have specials daily. I love the pumpkin spice cupcakes during fall; the smell, taste, and flavor brings out the warm feeling of the season. Yumm!

My friend and I arrived at the Bay St mall and headed straight to this charming little bake shop. There were so many adorable cupcakes and cupcakies (cupcake tops), it made my decision very difficult. Then I spotted the pink velvet cupcakes off to the side and my mind was made up. My friend bought me one of the cute pink velvets along with a snickerdoodle cookie. I also bought us some cookies of the day, oatmeal coconut chocolate. Omg, everything was to die for!
