The theatre is not only stunning inside but also offers a great season of opera, some ballet and symphonic concerts throughout the year. Take a tour inside to see some interesting architectural highlights.

I never saw an opera here but I did see the Godfather Part III in the movie theater when I was 11. In the film Michael Corleone's daughter is gunned down on the steps of the theater after his son's debut opera performance. Many tourists go to see the theater just for that reason.

This theater is one of the real prides of Palermo, it is stunning inside and out. There are guided tours each day in English, French and Spanish. If you any appreciation for the arts, this is a theater to see.

As many constructions in Palermo, it's so over the top! Built to rival the biggest theaters in Europe! Don't get me wrong, it perfectly fits the city! Being in Palermo is being part of a movie. I did not get inside of it.
