About 5 to 10 minutes by a taxi ride from Condominio Castelar! Also the buses will take you there for $0.50! It is located in the heart of the city, so we are very central to downtown.
Old world theatre built during the time of the Coffee Barons, it is a smaller copy of the Opera in Paris!! An unsual site in Central America!
Tip! The Coffeeshop, Café del Teatro is a great place for a light meal, coffee and people watching!

Although there isn't a whole lot to do or see in Costa Rica's capital, the Teatro Nacional is a truly exceptional landmark, considered the finest building in the city. The interior is incredibly beautiful and intricately decorated as you may have seen in other European palaces.

Historical site located right in the heart of downtown San Jose. Be awere of the surroundings since robbery happens quite often. Other than that, you will enjoy a sunny day out with the kids running around chasing the pidgeons.
