About 5 to 10 minutes by a taxi ride from Condominio Castelar! Also the buses will take you there for $0.50! It is located in the heart of the city, so we are very central to downtown.
Old world theatre built during the time of the Coffee Barons, it is a smaller copy of the Opera in Paris!! An unsual site in Central America!
Tip! The Coffeeshop, Café del Teatro is a great place for a light meal, coffee and people watching!

Although there isn't a whole lot to do or see in Costa Rica's capital, the Teatro Nacional is a truly exceptional landmark, considered the finest building in the city. The interior is incredibly beautiful and intricately decorated as you may have seen in other European palaces.Recommended for:

Historical site located right in the heart of downtown San Jose. Be awere of the surroundings since robbery happens quite often. Other than that, you will enjoy a sunny day out with the kids running around chasing the pidgeons.Recommended for:
