Description

As one of the most peaceful and well-known sanctuaries in the world, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha Wat Pho in Bangkok, Thailand, is a breathtaking spectacle. With its roots dating back hundreds of years, the temple is deeply rooted in Thai tradition and is known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. Located adjacent to the Grand Palace, the complex is some 80,000 square meters in size, boasting multiple schools, a working Buddhist monastery and The Reclining Buddha, stretching 160 feet in length.
