Great pavilion and one of the best shops ash Epcot. The restaurant here is always a favorite as well.

Our children especially loved this restaurant. When making your reservation, be certain to snag one of the very first sittings of the day, then arrive at least 30 minutes early. The ceremony that takes place prior to the restaurant's official opening is worth your time.

If you've been to a Japanese Teppanyaki grill restaurant, it's doubtful that you'll be surprised by anything here. However it will receive a little more authentically Japanese. The menu does seem to have a few more options than you would normally see in a similar restaurant. The food was perfectly prepared and very tasty. A great compliment is their specialty drinks and nice selection of quality Sakè. As expected, the show put on by the chef is great fun. What was not expected was the Mickey Mouse made out of sliced onion and sesame seeds. An even bigger birthday surprise is posing for photos with the chef and being given your own toque chefs hat. You'll have no problem saying "Dōmo arigatōgozaimashita" to everyone for the meal experience.

There's always an interesting exhibit on display... once it was baseball, another time it was tin wind-up toys. The food at the Japanese Steak House is good but since the renovation the portions are considerably smaller. This is where my husband learned to use chopsticks as a child so it will always be a favorite.

The Japan Pavilion has one of those restaurants where you sit around the grill while the cook performs feats of agility with spatulas and knives. The shops have lots of Japanese cookery and dishes and other porcelain wares that make me spend all of my money.
