Secluded island, white sands and gorgeous clear-blue waters: this is one of my favorite places in the world. It's better than Phuket. It's still a bit touristy, but quiet enough to be an oasis. Bring snacks before you hit the island, though—there aren't many convenience marts (if any at all), and you'll eat most of your meals at the restaurant ...

This is a great option particularly for a larger group or corporate trip. The hotel is impressive -- stylish, well located, high service levels and the rooms are very large. The room rates are also very good given what the property has to offer. The bars at the top level of the hotel are stunning and unlike anywhere else I ...

When you stay here, at this quiet resort on the banks of the Chao Phraya, a place built out of dark tropical woods, decorated with silks and religious paintings, a place with a spa, a swim up bar, and tennis courts, you don't feel you're in the construction and traffic filled Bangkok that is actually still quite accessible. The resort ...

Good hotel, not too far from main attraction of patong and very close to the beach. The hotel offer good quality free wireless internet, not a huge range but quality buffet breakfast. The rooms are new and the swimming pool is amazing, will definitely come here again.

Simply luxurious.... I hope this building never sinks. Speaking of sinks, I have become very spoiled with two sinks at home and took no exception here. Two sinks are so very useful. So is a separate shower and bath. I love to bathe. It's almost like a small pool but with hot water for just me. Surprisingly enough theres a ...

The only fault I can find with the place is that it's so lovely that you won't want to leave the transquility of its grounds to explore congested Bangkok. Loved our suite: spacious, tastefully-decorated in muted tones. Service was flawless too.

This is the tallest hotel in Bangkok. Around Pratunam (or Rachadapisek area) near the Pratunam flea market, I always stay in Baiyoke Sky Hotel. I have been to Bangkok about 8 times and this hotel is one my top 3 choices. It used to be a only about $55 back in 2005 but over the years, it has gone up ...

Shangri-La hotel in Bangkok is not nearly as nice as the one in Manila. Conference rooms were ok minus. Hotel and its rooms feels small and even though everything is ok+ I was expecting similar quality and attention to detail than in the Manila branch, Bangkok was not up to par to its stars.

This is known as the second highest open air restaurant in the southern hemisphere. You can chose to dine there or have cocktails at the bar. We had a three course meal for 3 people which cost about $500 AU.

Lovely 5 star hotel with a DELICIOUS (free) breakfast with unlimited mimosas made with tropical fruit! Some of lower level rooms even have private lagoons off the patio! And the restaurant is reasonable priced and the staff is accommodating. They prepared Kee Mao(my favorite!) for me and it wasn't even on the menu! I'll will return!

Off a boat from Krabi then docking in Phuket, an arrival into the paradise of the Westin Siray Bay Resort is literally a rags-to-riches sort of experience after weeks of backpacking up Thailand's west coast. When I travel, I like to rough it rugged then finish with a pampering stay in a suite and an infinity pool. The service in ...

I have not stayed in this hotel but had lunch at the restaurant, which has an interesting view overlooking the rice field within the compound (villas are located around the rice field to give the village living feel). If I were back again at Chiang Mai, I'd love to stay in this hotel and just enjoy the ambience.

Walking into the lobby of the Hyatt your ears are greeting by live classical music and bubbling water features. There are glass ceilings in some parts so they really take advantage of the use of natural lighting which gives the place a more open and expansive feeling. It certainly does make an impression. When we were there they were currently ...
