Excellent molecular Indian spot housed in a converted colonial building. Good atmosphere, inventive food and attentive service. I prefer it over molecular giant Alinea but I'd also be equally happy with a good plate of mattar paneer. A great experiential dining option that you likely won't find anywhere else on the planet.Popular withLuxuryFoodiesLGBT

Lovely location. Several small resorts to choose from. Several restaurants to enjoy right along the water front. Nice small beach town feel. Negotiate directly with the long boat drivers in the morning for a day trip to various islands and snorkelling. Pick someone you feel comfortable with, and don't hesitate to move along down the line of boat drivers until ...Popular withOutdoorAdventureFamilies
Finest dining for French cuisine in bangkok. Wear your jackets or they will find one for you. Overlooking the Chao phra ya river from the top floor of the mandarin oriental hotel is remarkable with the finest wine champagne selections. Personally i find the menu a bit boring and i always get home hungry after finishing the little beautifully decorated ...

Les goûts sont délicats, variés, fins, souvent épicés (voire trêêês épicés!), en tout cas, ne laissent pas indifférents. Passage obligé, les restais thais vous laisseront forcément un souvenir.
16/20; Food 6/10, Ambience 5/5, Service 4/5. Although it has indoor seating, the tables on the riverside deck are the ones to go for here. Watch the riverlife go by, with views up and downriver and some of the skyline. Inside the Shangri-La Hotel complex, which generally doesn't have much charm, and without much attempt at any sort of decor ...
This is known for having a nice vegetarian menu but you can find meat and fish as well. The grounds are very nice with an outdoor area lit with lanterns and indoor dining room. Service was great, food was great. I ended up eating there twice while in Chiang Mai. There is a mix of Indian and thai foods as ...Popular withVegetarian

This may look like an open-air, locals-only or those in the know, neon-lights with plastic chairs, restaurant... and it is. But TRUST me, it's Amazing Thai food at a cheap price. Run by a little old Thai lady with a heart of gold. Grab a beer and order the Pandanas Gao (Chicken wrapped in banana leaves & grilled).
