If you ask me, this hotel had one of the best views in the city, hands down. The topper, literally, was the beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar, which wraps around the building, and allows stunning views of all the major sights to see in Athens, from the Acropolis, to Imitos Mountain, to the Temple of Zeus. Enjoying the complimentary breakfast from this vantage point will be one of the highlights of your visit. The room had a major pro and a major con – the view of the Temple of Zeus was magnificent to behold, but the traffic noise from the main avenue didn’t encourage relaxing on the balcony. Thankfully, once the balcony door was closed, the sounds of cars pretty much disappeared. Although this hotel didn’t have its own pool and gym, they have a partnership with another nearby hotel that does, and allows you access with your card – bonus!Recommended for:

The roof top restaraunt-bar has an unforgettable view! It wraps around from the East looking at Ymyttos mountain, the sunrise and the Temple of Zeus in the immediate foreground, to the North looking up to the Parliament at Syndagma Square and the St. George Lycabyttus Church on the hill in the background, and ending in the West with the most spectacular view of the Acropolis and Sunset. Need I say more? There may be many roof tops with a view of the Acropolis but this one is a crowd pleaser for me. I love the squeaky clean modern look and feel of the hallways and room, it’s done with style but it’s also simple. The room was moderately sized as well as the bathroom and the balcony is nice and the windows keep the busy street noise out for the most part.Recommended for:

This was a very nice hotel. The breakfast buffet was to die for. Nice location, as it is a few blocks from the Plaka but not in the heart of all the businesses. The hotel is very nice, upscale but the elevator never comes so you have to walk up to your floor with luggage most of the time. The rooftop deck is unbeatable and looks right at the Acropolis, which looks amazing lit up at night. Customer service was fine but not outstanding.
