The Beehive

A stylish hostel that is steps from Termini station, but feels like a little oasis of modern cool. A vegetarian cafe graces the basement and rooms range from larger dorms to privates. One of the best ever value for money hostels.

One of the most popular pizzerias in Rome. I have tried better pizza in the city, but it is worth to try. Try to go early to avoid the lines. You may even need to share a table with strangers as the place is always packed. This is a Rome landmark so if you are visiting for the first time ...

If you are a fan of chocolate, you MUST stop here and try the gelato! The chocolate flavors are insanely chocolately! The gelato menu here has more "fussy" and gourmet style flavors that will appeal more to adults than children; I had the cinnamon dark chocolate gelato and it was yummy. It's not the best gelato ever, but the inventive ...

One of many good restaurants in the Trastevere neighbourhood of Rome. The lamb was excellent as was the appetiser. Not terribly expensive and pleasant for al fresco dining. Not been inside.

Great cafe in the Trastevere. The emblem on the outside is what drew us in, but it's a great place to stop for lunch or an early dinner. Love the decor!

Wonderful restaurant in the Trastevere with great outdoor (al fresco) dining, terrific wine list and great food. The lamb and pasta are both excellent as are the olives.

Not bad for a slice or two of pizza. Reasonable prices for pizza on the go. They'll usually heat it up for you, too. The small panini and other sandwiches around lunchtime are the best. The supplì aren't bad either!

This is the only restaurant we had a chance to eat at in Rome, so I can't compare it to anything else there. It was good food, and only a few blocks away from the Vatican.

Located in the northern corner of Campo de' Fiori, Aristocampo sells panini at 5-6 euros each. They're quite bit and tasty, and they're a good snack for eating while exploring the piazza. The traditional panini menu looked inviting, however the hamburger options just seemed odd.

When I lived in Rome and wanted to have some Japanese food this was the only place I could think about. It is a quite large restaurant close to Piazza di Spagna. Food is good and the environment relaxing. Staff is not particularly gentle but dinner here is still a nice experience.

The interior of this restaurant in the Ghetto is what I remember most - a series of rooms, each with its own quaint (and crazy) decor. The food was also pretty good.

Don't judge me, dude! We were in Rome on a Sunday night and it was late (close to 11 pm) and NONE of the local restaurants would take us for dinner (they were already closing up their kitchens). We were in a panic and starving, and thank goodness this Subway was open! I hate to resort to American chains while ...

Looks like a boiled egg but it is Mozarella Di Bufala (buffalo mozzarella cheese). My appetizer for tonight. I liked it but didn't love it. I just wanna try what it taste like. Not a bad for an appetizer though an the price is cheap too.

We stopped for drinks at this restaurant and bar facing Piazza Navona across from the Four Rivers Fountain. Sitting outside enjoying the view with an Aperol Spritz was great. But beware. If you only have drinks, they insist you pay in cash. Only if you order food will they accept credit cards.

One of the two big bar caffes on Piazza del Popolo (the other being Canova) offers great people watching and a great time for the aperitivo hour. What better place to have an Aperol Spritz in the afternoon.
