The fastest--and cheapest--way to travel from Manhattan to Queens, or vise versa, is the Queensboro/59th Street Bridge. You can drive, bike, or walk across the bridge. Pause to take in the gorgeous view of Manhattan as you cross the bridge.

When I went the summer of 2014, it felt like 75% was under scaffolding, exterior and interior. I'm sure it's very impressive when you can see it, but right now is not the best time.

I think every part of the store is amazing. I love the collection of every stuffed animal known to man and the giant keyboard. We actually had to return a toy that didn't work, and even though it had been a year since we got it as a gift, they exchanged it for us without hassle!

    Central Park Zoo

0.87 mi from The Bentley Hotel
    42 reviews

If you really don't want to go up the Bronx just to see the animals, the Central Park Zoo is an excellent compromise. There's a dolphin tank, polar bears, a penguin house and a steamy rain forest section. Kids usually love the petting zoo where you can buy handfuls of feed to offer the goats. FYI, this was the zoo ...

The UN is a community unto itself on the east side of midtown Manhattan. The UN building is quite distinct but there's also a school and many apartment buildings. I watched the 4th of July fireworks from here a few times when I lived in Manhattan.

There are no maracons better than Laduree's. I am glad they now have a store in US but I am mad it is so far away from us poor West Coasters in California. Every single one of their macarons is perfect. The crust, the texture, the flavors, the filling ratio. I can't find fault. I have tried numerous amount of ...

I don't understand why you wouldn't take the tram! For the price of a subway ride, you get a spectacular view of Manhattan and the 59th Street Bridge. Not terribly much to see, unless you happen to have a U.N. badge (in which case this is a 3 star at least attraction). Without the badge, you're limited to seeing the building (considered one of the uglier buildings in NYC) and superficial areas in the structure itself (which house rotating exhibitions, including but not limited to drawings by children ...
