Everyone back home would love a shirt from this store! Cmon...they deserve it - they watched your house for you.

The pancakes here are huge and delicious and nauseating (in a good way). Just take it slow. I also love the gigantic fruit bowl they serve, and, of course, their granola. Grab a seat by the window if you can so you can listen to the waves just steps away.

The Black Dog is famous restaurant which has been here for since 1971. it became famous for the iconic Black Lab you'll see on T-shirts and cups. One of the shirts even popped up in the Monica Lewinsky Scandal. Bill Clinton gave her one of these shirts. Other stars and locals all come here to eat.

The clam chowder is by far hands down far one of the greatest ones. Thick and creamy!! The fish and chip is fresh and yummy. However, being from Texas, I was disappointed by the angus burger. If you stick with the seafood, you will be fine.

This cozy place has seating with a view of the port as well.

Great view, ok food. The food used to be incredible but after the Black Dog became a must-hit restaurant the quality hasn't been the same.

Description

The Black Dog Tavern was the first year-round restaurant opened on Martha's Vineyard, and its signature black dog mascot remains a universal symbol for the island. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it has a spacious dining room where you can sit by the windows and listen to seagulls circling the pier.
