Interesting pub with a spacious layout and friendly staff. Ping pong tables in one corner for those keen. When I visited there were a few people chilling with their earphones and Macs, seems like I place to just kick back and relax. They have a good menu but I only tried the potato wedges (which were unremarkable). Lots of things ...

The first international member of the Ace Hotel family, this London branch brings all of the brand's hipster cachet to town, pumped full of ultra-cool local touches from the surrounding Shoreditch neighborhood. Each of the 258 rooms is meant to feel like a friend's East End apartment, with hip but homey appointments like patchwork quilts from A.P.C. and in-room turntables ...

A beautiful and vibrant hotel with helpful staff. The location is stellar and there are great shopping and historical locations nearby (financial district of London). The rooms have huge pieces of art above the bed and luxurious bathrooms and bedding made for a restful visit.

I normally cannot afford this hotel, but i booked a room early enough to have a very low rate. It was unbelievable. Great service, marvelous room, very stylish. Only minor disadvantage is that you need a manual to "manage" all the high tech in the room ;-)

Perfect hotel for a quick London trip. Fairly close to everything you want to see (within a few stops on the Underground), up-to-date, clean & great service. We really enjoyed it. The neighborhood is hustle & bustle during the week and then a ghost town on the weekend.

I like loving things, and I would love this hotel for most things other than the concierge requests I had taking ages. The stahh at the desk are well trained, while those working concierge and the breakfast host part are a bit lost and slow...if you need anything urgently from the concierge, expect to just google it yourself faster. I have stayed here a few times and really like it. The public spaces are lovely and, unlike many Schrager properties, the rooms and staff are nice too. The in-house bar draws a good crowd. Probably not as hip as it used to be but certainly worth a visit. I don't recommend Asia de Cuba.

The atmosphere is great. I recently came for afternoon tea and enjoyed it, the boys had a Gentleman'a afternoon tea which included fish and chips, a scotch egg, steak baguette and a club sandwich with a pale ale.

Borrowing from Charles and Ray this hotel has good taste written all over it. There is a Penguin Classics library you are free to borrow books from, tablets in the funky rooms that control lighting and blinds, exceedingly comfortable beds and very decently priced meeting rooms. The perfect hotel.

Wow, Wow, Wow, beautiful hotel. Amazing! I love it. If only I could travel Rocco Forte more regularly. The brand also really caters well to gay travelers which I love and works with a lot of other gay travel brands, so this incredibly stylish, well-serviced hotel is the place to go if you want to Splurge in London.

Of all the hostels I've recommended to friends in London, this one has caused the most problems. Smelly, noisy with a rather dodgy crowd. They do have free wifi and it is safe and the linen is clean, but not recommended. And if you must stay there, book on laterooms.com for a discount.
