Never again...I came here for a friend's goodbye gathering, and just terrible experience all around, so I'll keep it short and to the point.
Bartender: Red headed lady in her 40s/50s? Not so much a bubbly attitude...Incredibly rude...I asked if they made AMF's, she said no but while rolling her eyes at me. Really? What's with the attitude? It was a simple question, it's okay if you don't have that on the menu. As she was charging my card, she decided to give me this dirty look while chatting with another bartender. Really, what did I do to deserve that type of treatment? I really didn't feel like tipping her but I didn't want to feel like a jerk.
Decided to order 2 long islands instead...which came to $26. Again...really?? I can get maybe 4-5 cocktails at that price at any other bar in SF.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice atmosphere, plush couches, dimly lit, and good venue to bring a date, but that bartender needs an attitude check. Everyone else serving drinks that night was more than friendly.

Got here around 10:30pm and there was no line to get in. They bouncers quickly checked me and my girlfriend's IDs. There were groups of well dressed people upstairs talking. We headed downstairs; no one was on the dance floor so we got a round of drinks. They don't play the best music and they play different music upstairs from downstairs (no one dances upstairs). Went downstairs at one point and it was really warm down there. Only champagne, wine, and a few select drinks are served upstairs. The peach Bellini was good; Razzmapolitan is a nice girly drink as well. I'm glad not all of the tables are for reserved tables; we sat down and a few guys came over to chat.

I was pleasantly surprised when running across The Bubble Lounge. I found the staff both extremely professional and helpful. The lounge also has great deals on bottles; we got 20% off!
We stumbled in after my birthday dinner this year and things were kind of slow so it was nice that the staff was willing to spend some time laughing with us.
I disagree with what most people say about the "horrifying" basement. It is a narrow space, but it's very interesting and different from anything else in the city. I came back later for a show and it was a bit crowded, but I definitely enjoyed how unique it is.

this is one of my favorite clubs in the city. there's a top floor that is filled with red leather sofas. the music is loud enough to set the mood started but soft enough to let conversation flow. the drinks prices are avg ($10 per drink) and there is no cover.
when the smoozhing is over, people usually transition to the basement. the atmosphere is hot and dark. it feels like a cave. music quakes through the dance floor and all your primal instincts are drawn out.

Forgive me if I don't rate this place anything more than 4 stars. I've forgotten about this place until my boyfriend took me here for one of our dates. My oh my, I don't know how we managed to get ourselves here after a couple of drinks. I'll spare the details of our date, but let me give the rundown.
My gripe is the expensive bar tab and evidently, the long line to use the bathroom. Overall, I can't hate the establishment. The patrons are always nice and I don't get hassled by security. The crowd is eclectic so you'll get a good mix of people. Music can be a mix of Top 40s, old school hip hop and what not but I wish they could play some good ol' funk or house music here and there. Eh...I'm not going to complain. I'll still wiggle my tush anyway because I love to dance.
Bonus points, no COVER CHARGE. I love going to the city and get a bit of some partying without having to pay for cover! Saves me a couple of bucks in my wallet. Decor isn't well-lit but there's enough breathing room to roam around upstairs. However, it can get packed upstairs when you find yourself checking out the rest of the crowd.
Will I want to come back again? Sure, why not!

This was my favorite hang out for years. Its very cozy and yet also very trendy. On Friday or Saturday nights, its a place to lounge with a bottle of champagne with good friends. They have a downstairs dungeon for dancing with a live DJ playing house and techno.
