Now a Doubletree Hilton, the 'Old Burlo' hotel is exactly what you want in a business hotel. Close to town and within walking distance of a few pubs and restaurants, the hotel is also walking distance from a beautiful canal. It's attached to a large conference center (I was there for a conference), so there are a lot of business ...

Slightly over priced for what you get. Make sure and go for the early bird that makes it a bit more reasonable. Giving it 3 stars for the chicken wings would go just for them. Was left waiting slightly too long for desert - New York Cheesecake - which was pretty small size but tastey.

Attached to the Grand Canal hotel, the Gasworks Bar is a good place to grab a pint, have some food, and catch a rugby match. It's doesn't have the charm of a "traditional" Irish Bar, but if you're in the neighborhood, it's a good place to catch up with friends.

One of the best meals we had on our trip. The Winding Stair is centrally located right near the Ha'penny Bridge. A small but cozy dining room will offer some expertly cooked local dishes. I was on a hunt to find John Dory (fish) and the meal came with some expertly sautéed crab claws, purple potatoes, and green beans. I ...

Toscana Restaurant City Centre Dublin is one of my favorite destinations in weekends. It is the best Italian restuarant & Pizzeria in Dublin city, a few minutes from my place.
