Incredible! A whole bar dedicated to chocolate!!! They have the most amazing selection of chocolates, cakes, ice cream, the list goes on and on. Pair your chocolate treat with a coffee or something from the wine list for a a truly decadent time. It's a tiny little intimate setting for an incredibly memorable experience.

    Mile End Delicatessen

0.68 mi from The Chocolate Room
    6 reviews

Montreal native Noah Bernamoff’s Brooklyn deli recently reopened with a new craft brew menu. But thankfully, the Ruth Wilensky sandwich remains unchanged. A tribute to the matriarch of the Montreal institution Wilensky’s Light Lunch, Mile End’s version heaps artisanal salami and brown mustard on a pressed onion roll. Don’t let its simplicity fool you. This is beefy, smoky, oniony perfection. ...

If a place can rock brunch, this is it. Don't be shy... get a cocktail with that breakfast! The food is great, and plentiful, and rich, and heavy. Don't make plans after brunch. You won't be able to move. It's a small and popular place, so try to get there early.

    Tom's Restaurant

0.88 mi from The Chocolate Room

Nice old school diner. I love that they bring different flavored butters to the table with the syrup - strawberry, brown sugar and apple. Corned beef hash here was quite nice. My friend got the french toast with sausage, another friend got the veggie omelette. Everything was delicious - exactly what you want out of a diner. Cash only.

This cavernous spot in Park Slope is great for coffee and music. Grab a cappuccino, a cupcake (sourced from Magnolia's!), and sink into their well-worn couches or pick a pillow along the wall. Bring a laptop or a book, and you're good to go. You could easily spend an afternoon and a night here. They have live music every week, ...

The newest location is in the perfect spot next to the Brooklyn Bridge. Great and inexpensive. The Caramel Carousel concrete is only available at this location -- vanilla custard, sugar cone, sea salt caramel and banana. A zoo but very efficient. Has a surprisingly good wine list for a fast food spot.

They know their mixology here! The punch bowl was a hit, the chips cooked in duck fat were make-me-an-addict good, and the mac and cheese.... forget about it! I would come to Brooklyn on a weekly basis from Manhattan just to come here. Great place to go for happy hour!

The conspicuous location of Brooklyn Social evokes its social club days (members-only I'm sure). Twice I circled the block before finding this well-tucked away but hidden treasure in Carroll Gardens. The atmosphere is dark and understated but a jukebox and local crowd keep things lively. Drinks are NOT for amateurs but are strong and well-blended with combinations such as tangerine ...
