The Club Bar at The Peninsula

The Peninsula Beverly Hills, 9882 South Santa Monica Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California
1 review

Inside The Peninsula hotel. Beautiful hotel in Beverly Hills. The bar is ok, filled with a very old crowd. The lobster mac and cheese didn't live up to the hype. I loved the selection of wine.

This is a great venue! I especially like the patio area on the second floor. It's a very relaxing atmosphere. There are couches and TVs. It's a very nice place to lounge around with friends. The food is good too! Get any type of pizza or sliders. There are good happy hour prices for these food items. It's also a ...

One of the best Sushi spots I've been too. Its expensive but worth it. I recommend sitting at the Sushi Bar and just let the chef go to town, just let him know when your full.

If you want to check out the alternative nightlife scene of West Hollywood, The Abbey is a must! It is the premier gay bar in West Hollywood, and was voted the Best Gay Bar in the World by TripOut in 2010. Elizabeth Taylor was known to visit many times in her later years, and there is an alter to her. ...

This has always been one of my favorite local cafe's going back a number of years. There is a nice selection of soups, salads and sandwiches, as well great coffee, tea and juice. As far as food goes, I recommend going with one of their sandwiches. The turkey burger and the grilled vegetable sandwich are both really good choices and ...

I came to this place a few years ago just when it was starting up. The place is really small and cute. However, the food is absolutely fantastic. I'll admit I only tried one thing, the Kalbi sausage, but when you expect an explosion of flavor and all you get is a little bit of blandness. Well.. lets just say it's a little bit disappointing. A few of my friends also tried it and all of them said it was good, but it wasn't amazing. Maybe it was ...

NOTE: Ramen is ONLY served for lunchtime! My review is only for lunch. This is my top ramen place in LA. The ramen is the tsukemen dip style (where noodles are cooked separately from the broth and then you dip them), which is different from the normal tonkotsu style (noodles are cooked in the broth). Can be as long as ...

Good food. A lot of sour items... I don't know why? Nonetheless, it was a very tasty and interesting dinner. First came the Boquerones (description: boquerones, pickled quail egg, asparagus, crispy ham). Ok i had no idea what boquerones was, I just knew it was some kind of fish because it was in the fish section. Hey, let's be adventurous! ...

Walked over to this little sushi spot once even though I lived in Brentwood for 5 years... (I know, sad right?) But it's very traditional style sushi, so don't ask for dumb crap like California rolls or some dragon shit you saw at Geisha House, cause they don't do it. It's just straight up sashimi and old school sushi.

Like Erin said, the atmosphere is nice, the menu is on iPad and you can even pay your bill there, young and nice people around, the problem was the burger that had a nice presentation but without much flavor, I believe there are many better options in Los Angeles like Comme Ca for example.

This restaurant is all about the garlic. Almost every dish is built around that ingredient and most of them are excellent. The booths are fantastically decorated, making this a visual and culinary treat. If you think you want to hang out with your friends even though you hate garlic, don't.

800 Degrees is a great place to get authentic Italian style pizza. When it came out, I was immediately reminded of the scene in Eat, Pray, Love when Julia Roberts was sitting with a pizza in front of her in Italy saying how she will enjoy her pizza and then go buy bigger pants. That woman definitely knows what she's ...
