I think Cosmopolitan is now my hotel of choice in Vegas. I love the tastefully decorated rooms and the practical floorplan. I certainly didn't mind the the beautiful strip view from the balcony either.
There are no shortage of luxury on the strip but what Cosmopolitan offer is more than just some a Jacuzzi tub or and shiny granite kitchenette. It is a very thoughtful hotel and a showcase for some intriguing modern art. I enjoyed all the coffee table books, paintings and sculptures. The hotel lobby alone is detour worthy.
I only have one complaint. Why can't I have a coffee machine in the room? Would that basic kitchen equipment really destroy the chic ambiance?Recommended for:

I now understand why everyone's been raving about this place. The Cosmo, and neighboring property Aria, are the latest in the Vegas trend towards elegant and understated rather than loud and garish…and I like it. Their trademark 4-story chandelier is magnificent. If you tell someone you're meeting them under the chandelier, you'd better get way more specific. Other cool touches are vaguely steampunk art sculptures, vending machines which once sold cigarettes and now offer small works of art, and stunning interior design in every lounge I saw. Will be signing up for their insider club as soon as I post this review, so the next time I'm in town we might delve deeper into what The Cosmo has to offer.Recommended for:

Another of Vegas's many luxury resort hotels, the Cosmopolitan is a very young, trendy spot with modern design and decor. The casino and bars are loaded with young people looking to get drunk, get rich, get laid, or get all three. It's fun to check out and the interior is certainly very swanky.Recommended for:

Squeezed between the Bellagio casino and the skyscraping CityCenter complex on the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd.), Cosmo raises the stakes. Killer terrace suites with wraparound views and step-out patios, cabanas in the casino, a summer pool club facing the Strip, a Turkish-styled hammam spa, eclectic indie shops, and a whole sumo stable full of star chef's restaurants, plus the three-story Chandelier Bar. And whimsical pop art scattered almost everywhere you look. Had a great lunch at Holstein's gourmet burgers & boozy milkshakes last time here. If you want to be in the middle of the scene on the Strip, this place is just about perfect.Recommended for:

Cosmo is fabulous! It caters to a hip and trendy crowd, with its sleek and sexy interior. Their club, Marquee, is one of the hottest spots to party - but if you aren't on a guestlist, be prepared for an insane wait to get in. The various lounges are chic and restaurants are very hipster, as are the shops (including Stitched and All Saints). Rooms have their own balconies, so the views are incredible. Room service is quick and very accommodating. Best hotel in City Center, and one of the top ones on the strip.Recommended for:

It's new, it's fancy and it's aimed at the young cool kids who do things like buy designer jeans and go to clubs. That's not really me, but the rooms are great, the casino is nice and the dining options are solid. Our group of non-clubby guys had a great time during our stay. If you're a gambler, though, you're probably going to want to spend most of your time at other casinos that are in larger players' club networks.

I love EVERYTHING about This hote!!!
Having worked in the Vegas hotel industry I thought I had seen it all.
The Cosmopolitan is Luxurious, Modern, and Cutting Edge.
The Chandelier Bar is the focal point of the hotel and spectacular!
It is 4 stories high and the drinks are unbelievable!
The pool are doubles as a Day/Night Club called Marquee a very hip NYC import.
The rooms are fabulous but for the first time I didnt care about staying in the room.
Everything about this hotel is impressive!
The service, restaurants, bars, even the light fixtures are unbelievable!
If you are in Las Vegas and can't stay here you must at least visit.Recommended for:

Cosmopolitan is the hottest casino/hotel on the strip! Trendy, fun and somehow boutique. Artistic in terms of the sleek architecture and contemporary design. I'm glad Vegas is steering away from the cheesed-up theme hotels and bringing a new set of classier digs. I'm not a gambler, but can hang out here all day - there's various bars, restaurants, and a small shopping area. Best of all, the Marquee Dayclub and Boulevard Pool are fantastic for taking a swim and enjoying the strip's best views!Recommended for:

I love the Cosmopolitan! Glamorous and modern, glitz and glam...everything my girlfriends and I envisioned for our girls trip to Vegas. If you can get into Marquee, their nightclub, do check it out! Also, don't forgot to stop by for cocktails and photos against the picturesque Chandelier Bar.Recommended for:

I love the Cosmo! Took my wife here for the first time on our recent trip to Las Vegas and we loved it. We're not into gambling and it didn't seem like a typical casino. Best of all, since it's pretty new, it didn't smell overwhelming with smoke. I liked the modern and artsy feel. The layout and architecture is awesome. It's on the center of the strip so we didn't need to use cabs so much, instead walked around to shops and eat nearby.Recommended for:

The cosmopolitan is a great place to go, very artsy and advance garde. The suites are spacious and well appointed with upper class amenities. The cosmopolitan is very well located centrally on the strip among several other classy hotels and resorts

I haven't stayed at the Cosmopolitan, but I've certainly spent enough time inside to say it has some of the best bars, restaurants, and nightlife anywhere on the strip. Highly recommend having small plates at Jaleo, big plates at Wicked Spoon buffet, and dancing the night away at the Marquee nightclub. This hotel exudes extravagance. If you're looking to go big, it doesn’t get much bigger or any better than the Cosmopolitan.

I had an awesome experience staying at the Cosmopolitan. The hotel is impeccably designed, attention has really been paid to all aspects of the hotel. When you walk in, large pillars surround the registration area, but rather than just being pillars, they are actually large panels of video screens that change their display constantly, from library books to people to colorful flowers, it keeps the registration area interesting. The rooms are elegant and modern in their design, with tall windows that give you a great view. I had nothing but amazing experiences with the service at the Cosmo as well -- from the moment you walk in, you are greeted immediately and helped with whatever question you might have.
There are a couple of pools -- the one on the 4th floor that faces the Strip has more of the party atmosphere, with a DJ and louder music while the 14th floor pool is off the strip, is a little quieter and is still crowded, but a little more low key. You can also spend the day at Marquee's Day Club.
They have some awesome restaurants as well, from the popular late night Secret Pizza (totally worth the hype) to the more high end options to the awesome Wicked Spoon buffet, there really is something for everyone here.
Somehow they even made the hectic checkout process at 11am on a Sunday one of the most pleasant I can remember. There are cocktail waitresses walking around with chilled bottled water for everyone while they wait in lines, and they also have roaming express checkout people to save people from the line so that they can minimize everyone's wait time. Even as we were waiting in line to leave our bags with the bellhop stand, someone came to the end of the line and grabbed our bags to shorten the line for everyone. Huge points for efficiency. What could have been 20-30 min of waiting in line was reduced to literally 3 minutes. I will definitely stay here again!Recommended for:
