This place consists of 10 self catering flats that are really comfortable and fashionably outfitted. There is also a free standing cottage (which is where we stayed). Most of the flats, and the cottage, have a fireplace and a kitchen that has all you require to make a decent meal. Flat 6 is probably the nicest flat.
There is a small bar/lounge and a restaurant at the resort. The quality of the food is quite good for the adults. I found the kids menu quite limited. The service was fairly inconsistent - sometimes quite slow.
There is an outdoor heated pool, which really is very well heated. Our kids happily swam in it when it was only 10 degrees outside. The pool overlooks the cove yet is quite private and very comfortable. If you were to stay in flat 5, you would be able to walk right out to the terrace and pool area.
There is also a sauna and a ping pong table. What this place is lacking is a "games room" or "rec room" where kids can hang out when the weather is poor.
They have a "children's concierge", named Wo, who organizes activities for the children. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. However, we were slightly disappointed that the schedule of activities seemed to be a bit haphazard and not outlined in advance.
The location is stunning. Lamorna Cove is just a 5 minute walk away, I will warn, however, that this beach is quite rocky and not one where you will necessarily want to swim. But, you are about 10=15 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in England - Pedn Vounder and Porthcurtho. Both worth the trip..
We also found this area to be great for bike riding and there are a ton of really lovely hikes along the coast. It's just magical area. If you enjoy outdoor activities this is a very comfortable base from which to explore.
